London Stadium / West Ham Transformation

About our project

2012 Olympic Stadium Transformation

We played a key role in the design and acoustic specification of the new permanent roof, which needed to provide both sound reduction in order to reduce noise breakout from concerts, and absorption in order to achieve intelligibility for the bowl PAVA system / fire alarm.

Originally the centrepiece of the London 2012 Olympic – members of our team provided acoustic and PAVA system design throughout the design, construction and commissioning stages of the original London 2012 Stadium Project.  The Transformation project saw the Olmpic design be transformed for legacy use by West Ham FC.
